mandolins and banjos
There are three different types of mandolin.
1. Neopolitan - bowl back, classic Italian style which
is somewhat difficult to hold.
2. Flattened - a model tear drop shaped with a flattened back.
3. Flattened F Model -flattened back with F holes on the top.
All can be fitted with pickups. The most popular is the F hole type which we usually carry in stock.
There are also different types of banjo.
From four to the popular five string model which was responsible for a lot of musical history.
Many people have said the five string banjo is the only native American instrument. Actually African slaves brought the banjo to America.
