Synths and Workstations

synths and workstations

So much power has never been as affordable!

Synthesizers can be used generally in two ways:

1. Creating electronic sounding effects and musical phrases.
2. Duplicating the sound of other musical instruments and creating new ones.

Workstations evolved from the pure synth, drum machine and sequencer which as separate items were bulky, and complicated to link together. The workstation is all of the above and more in one unit.

Although you can now "Synthesize" using a computer plug in, these are not exactly portable or easy to use and for the live player not exactly reliable either! We offer a price match policy, will take special orders and give the most unbiased advice.

We also offer comprehensive instrument tuition at the Avalon Music School which is situated above the store.
